Hi. I am going to salalah again and wonder if anyone had been to SHAAT sinkhole; is it worth to visit? Should be about 30 km from the Mughsayl blowholes towards Rakhyut. Is it easy to find, is it signposted?
Also, has anyone hiked down to the bottom of ATAYR sinkhole? Is it worth? How long does it take? Is it possible in August, or plants take over and block the path? I climbed down a bit last march, but we have not had time to continue further.
Which are the best sinkholes, any other worth a visit? Shihayt, shabun, tayq?
