Indian visa in Oman

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible/straigh forwarded to get a visa for India in Oman.
I am a Dutch citizen.

When I arrived in India 5 days ago (from Oman.....I'm a U.S. citizen), I was very surprised to see large posters announcing that visitors could now get a visa UPON ARRIVAL!! For 4 years (including this summer), I've jumped through hoops (albeit fairly quickly) to get my Indian visa before leaving Muscat for India. I assume -- but I'm no authority! -- that your Dutch passport should be no problem at all.......getting a visa in India upon arrival. I'd check online, though.
