Another question on this topic:
Are the tickets sold on the bus just before departure, or somewhere else - where -?
And if so, is it necessary to make a reservation in advance ?

There is a ticket office there, where all the buses depart from, at the Ruwi bus terminal. No, not necessary to reserve in advance but perhaps make sure you get there a couple of hours before it departs to buy your ticket, in case they got sold out. You can safely leave your bag in the ticket office, while waiting, if you want to go and get a bite to eat etc.

Tnanks, that sounds fine. The bus company's website is not functioning properly, so I cannot find the departure time. Any idea about the actual times ?

Bus I got was late afternoon, arrived into Dubai around 11ish. Stops for dinner and border of course. But don't know exact time.
