I am really struggling with finding a decent car hire in oman
Everyone that I do email won't reply back, ie NTT oman and other companies.
Also, I am having difficulty finding unlimited mileage allowance.
Please advice and suggest good trustworthy companies.
The ones that have replied have no internet cred or reviews :s is AST oman and arabiacars oman
i'm pretty sure you can find what you ask for from Budget and Europe Car rental , they both have a branch at Muscat international Airport , you can easily take the car from there.
Regarding the two companies you listed , arabiacars is good company and trustworthy the other one i dont know about it.
I used rentalcars.com site to get a car with budget in salalah. I used Europcar in muscat. They have other options. Airports have little boots for a number of franchise international rental car companies as well as local agents, even if you don't book in advance, you can sort it out at the airport.
