Pegasus just sent me an email - they're having a flight sale. And it's a beauty!

On- 8-9-10 November only, you can book all domestic flights between 1 December and 31 March 2011. for 35.99 TRY.
No hidden charges, though you can pay extra for seat choice, extra baggage (15k is the max. free limit), insurance and meal - but you don't have to. website http://euromessage.net/1010/pgs/01/bulten_en.html

So - if you're thinking of flying to ISTANBUL (cheaper than to Damascus) and going overland to Syria, Jordan or Lebanon, you can now fly from Istanbul's Sabiha Gokcen airport to Adana or Antakya in a couple of hours and taking the bus onwards, faster and cheaper than going overland all the way.

Get in there fast, though. These seats will most likely sell like hotcakes!

We're flying Pegasus Air next week with our family. I'm wondering if anyone knows whether they count their 15kg baggage requirement per person or cumulatively, for our group? We have two small children, and would rather bring a 22kg suitcase than two smaller bags (which require more arms to carry!)
Thanks.

Pegasus have very good staff and they might let you - but why take the risk?
Get yourself a cheap foldaway bag from a market, and stash the rest in that for flying, then transfer it at the airport, either end.
You could pack everything in your main bag first, and put the 'transferables' - already in your foldaway - on top, Then it's easy to make the switch if you have to.
