Hello,
I am thinking about doing a half day tour of Beiteddin & Deir El-Kamar. If I am visiting Lebanon, do you believe it is worth it to go to these two places? The tour is $65 and includes a lunch.

Beit ed'Din Palace and its splendid mosaics are certainly worth a visit.
You could do it cheaper by public tansport, however

Deir el Kamar is a very nice old mountain town with little streets etc.
They have a wax museum, which is funny (located in a nice building).
On the way to Beiteddine you have Musa's Castle, also a nice (funny) place to visit.
And then you have the palace of Beiteddin... (there is also a "copy" of this palace, which lies higher up the mountain and is turned into a fancy hotel. Very nice views).
The whole area is very nice...
(But Deir el Kamar is my husbands hometown, so I am probably biased)
