Hi All,

I recently spent 8 days in Jordan getting to see lots of things and since I got so much info from this forum I thought of getting back some info with a trip report that I wrote in my blog
http://www.tripiteasy.it/viaggio-in-giordania/
It is in Italian, but it is very schematic and easy translatable

One more thing, Jordan is super safe, don't worry about that!
Have a nice trip
Franz

I will be entering Jordan from Israel, stay for 10 days and then go back to Israel.

Is it true that I can get a visa at the border at Sheikh Hussein and at Aqaba, but not at Allenby bridge?

Is the visa free at Aqaba?

And how much does it cost at Sheikh Hussein?

Thank you so much!!

Wadi Rum

Hello! Finally I will go to Wadi Rum :) after hearing about its beauties for years!
Is it easy to organize a trip on arrival in Wadi Musa? Is there a particular place you recommend for that?
And which low cost hostel do you suggest to stay there 3 nights?
thank you!

Hello there :)

I will be flying to Tel Aviv in a week and I have 25 days for Israel, Palestine and Jordan. Jordan is the only new part of the trip for me and I still haven't read much about it. I am thinking of going to Wadi Rum, Petra and maybe Jerash. What else do you recommend?

And what's the easiest and safer border crossing? I hear there were some problems in the Eilat one recently...

Thanks for the help!

I am planning to travel Israel-Jordan-Egypt-Jordan-Israel this winter. After recent events, and this may be horrifically ignorant so I apologize, is it (where is it) safe or not safe to travel these areas in upcoming months?

Where are best places to visit or stay as a single traveler in Egypt, as a single female? Any recommendations or suggestions as to what areas to avoid? Are there things to do that are easier as a single traveler? Transportation choices that are smarter than others?

So far…

We are planning a 3 day visit to Petra followed by a dessert tour with overnight in a dessert camp this week (18-22 nov).

-Is the bus Petra Wadi rum (and vise versa) still running (because it is low season)?
-Any recommendations about a good tour with overnight (I'm thinking of booking with Jordantracks)

Thanks for taking the time to answer!

Flying into Amman late evening December 5 and leaving early afternoon seven days later. I'd like to check out the city and spend a couple days in Petra. Any advice on joining tours or hiring drivers.

Hi all,

I'm an American woman in my twenties going to Jordan for about 2 weeks next month and am trying to find other women to meet up with. I haven't booked tickets yet so I'm flexible but am thinking Dec 1-14 and want to see Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum, Dead Sea, etc. I'd even be up for a day tour to Jerusalem if anyone is interested.

Thanks,

Kay

hello,

I've just booked my OJ tickets to Jordan, which means that I arrive to Amman and leave from Aqaba. The thing is that my return flight is at 3.45 am and I cannot find in internet any information on Aqaba airport.
Sleeping in the airports does not have it in their database, LP says it is a tiny sleepy place.

I found only this website: http://www.azworldairports.com/airports/a1850aqj.cfm which says in particular that operating hours are 4.00-20.30, which is in contradiction to my flight…

Hi
We are 2 travelling up from Aqaba to Madaba then the airport. We would like to take in the Wadi Rum and of course the Dead sea.
is it best we use Jet buses etc or hire a car for the 4/5 days?
