Can I please have some comments on my proposed 5 night Jordan intinerary.
Day 1: Arrive amman airport, transfer to Petra and overnight in petra.
Day 2: Full day tour of petra, overnight petra
Day 3: Morning petra or little petra then afternoon Wadi Rum tour, back to petra overnight
Day 4: Petra to Madaba via kings highway, visit to Dana, Kerak and Wadi Mujib, overnight Madaba
Day 5: Day trip to Dead sea, Mt Nebo etc, overnight Madaba
Day 6: Jerash and Amman city tour, transfer to amman airport…

We are three travellers going to Jordan in October and we have a transport question. We are doing a tour of Wadi Rum with Bedouin Roads and in the morning after (a Friday) we would like to go back to Amman. As I understand it would be easiest to go to Aqaba first and catch a bus from there (we don't mind spending a few hours in Aqaba but we don't want to stay the night). However, everywhere I read that one should book an Aqaba - Amman bus well in advance. Is this really necessary or should…

On the 19th of September I am going to Jordan.
The 20th or 21st of Septembre Eid al-Fitr starts.

We are on the start of Eid Al Fitr in Amman and we would love celebrate it with the Jordanese people, if possible.
Does anybody have advice, suggestions? That would be great.

The second day we want to go to the desert castles and Jerash. Does anybody know if these archeological sites are open during Eid al-fitr?
Are there things we can better postpone because of Eid al-Fitr? Or we can't do?

1. I will arrival Queen Alia Intl Arpt at 5:50am, and I would like to Jerusalem asap. So, any way is easy and fast to go to Jerusalem?

2. I would like to from Amman to Petra and same day return, is it possible? and how about the transport? If depart on Sat, is it problem?

3. I heard Abdali bus station is moved. so where to get airport express to airport?

We two thought that if we based ourselves in Madaba, we could drive ourselves around for a week to some sites in the area and then head to Petra and Wadi Rum too. We have looked at the major car rental companies prices and they seem affordable for that time. Any suggestions about any local car rental companies? Any pitfalls for the ignorant?
