Hi,

I entered Jordan from Egypt and obtained the free visa at Aqaba. I'm now in Amman and want to go to Jerusalem for a couple of days but realize that I need a "real" visa stamp to enable me to use the convenient bridge (King Hussein/Allenby bridge, I think). Where can I pay for and get a "real" visa in advance of my jaunt into Jerusalem? I only have three more days left in Jordan and so time is of the essence here.

Thanks in advance,

Sioux

I am sorry, but I think the only way would be to leave the country and come back again! Obviously you can leave and come back again through Beat Shean (for instance) but you would have incontrovertible evidence of your visit to Israel on your passport.

It took me 6 hours to cross at the King Hussein bridge so its not convienent unless you like standing around! Not sure of the other options but this one is a horror!
