This March/April we took the kids to Egypt. Although they enjoyed the historical sights to an extent, the real highlights for them were snorkelling at Dahab, camel riding, felucca on the Nile etc. But the constant hassle did get us down - after a while you find yourself just saying 'La Shukran' to anybody who comes near before they've even had a chance to open their mouth!
So my question is, how does Jordan compare? I guess the hassle factor should be much lower? How much lower? How is the snorkelling at Aqaba (can we go straight from the beach just like Sinai)? If anybody has been with kids (mine are aged 8 and 12) how did they get on at the obvious attractions like the Dead Sea, Petra & Wadi Rum? Ours love nature - would we be likely to see animals at Mujib Nature Reserve?
Any advice greatly received,
PnP
