Hello All!

Hoping you can help :)

My friend and I are two young Aussies on a tight schedule trying to fit in an egypt live aboard (we've both been to egypt several times), & a trip to Jordan (a first for the both of us)...

We have from the 11th till the 26th, so trying to plan a dive trip from Sharm or hopefully Dahab (neither of us have spent much time in Dahab & I hear its amazing), and then I'm hoping FINGERS CROSSED someone here can enlighten me, can we just get a ferry over to Jordan? I'm getting mixed answers in my research!

How long is it? Is it easy? Are we better off driving? We'll only have 9 days in total MAX and I'll probably have to fly out of Sharm on the 26th so I need to get back here easily.... Do you think this is possible?

Any recommendations?? Thanking you in advance!!!!!!!

Overland via always seems to get the top vote for speed - but there is the Israeli passport stamp to consider.

There seems to be mixed reviews for the ferry - we travelled to Israel from Taba and then crossed into Jordan later. We returned to Sinai by ferry from Jordan and had no issues at all but this is not always the case, some travellers do not have good trips.

Definitely worth a google for recent news.
