Does anyone know of a good mid range (3/4 star) hotel on the dead sea in Jordan??? Only request is that is needs to be located right on the dead sea itself.
Can anyone assist??

I think the only 4 star hotel in the Dead Sea is the Dead Sea Spa Hotel the other hotels are all 5 stars. For me the best place in the Dead Sea is the Mujib Chalets in the Mujib Nature Reserve where the Dead Sea is well preserved and you can also enjoy the waterfalls and natural pools in the canyons Mujib.

I confirm the only hotels on the Dead Sea are four and five star hotels. Given the price of the land there, it's not surprising.

The Mujib chalets look great - does anybody know if any of them are large enough for a family of 4? If not (and I suspect not) can you recommend anywhere affordable for a family on the Dead Sea?

Mujib chalets aren't big enough for four - two adults only. You could rent another chalet for the kids...
