We are travelling to Jordan next week and just wondering whether we should bring Euro or dollars, I presume there is no problem changing Euro. We plan to get some Dinar at the airport when we arrive as we will have to pay for our visa.

i was in jordan last week and i took USD with me and it was easy to exchange them at the airport.
my advice is to depend on the Dinar since casual shops and pple donot like to be paid in Dollars or in Euro.
my othe advice is to go visit beirut rather than jordan coz the only good sene jordan have is Petra but beirut have variety of things.

ur welcome!!!

There is no problem changing either of them in Jordan, both are widely used for exchange :)

Yes, but the exchange rate of the euro is falling like a stone whereas the rate of the USDollar is fixed against the dinar. I advise you to change to dollars as soon as you can and then you will at least know how much money you have!

I indeed agree with Ruth

#3 good advice. Although I suspect any major fluctuations between the Dinar and Euro are due to the US and Euro.
I don't think right now is the best time to change money. Markets need to stabilise a bit, or you need to pick the best day to change money!
