Hi everyone!!
I'm travelling by bus from Damascus to Amman next week, either direct or via Bosra.
Can anyone clarify which bus station I will arrive in?
(I understand the LP is a little outdated on this issue.)
Thanks!
Tim

If its the JETT company buses then I believe its still
Abdali area. The main bus station now is Tababour but
international buses still operate from Abdali.

We were travelling with "Challenge" three days ago and we arrived close that what was the Abdali station.

I think it depends on the buscompany that you travel with. We also arrived with Challenge, that drops off in front of their office, which is indeed close to what was Abdali station. A taxi to downtown should not be more than 1 JOD, Do not agree on a price beforehand, but just make sure that the taxidriver turns the meter on (which most of them do) as this will be cheaper. You can also walk down the street you are dropped off (in the direction that the bus came from), it is about a 10 min walk to downtown. You know you are walking in the right direction if you pass the national bank of jordan somewhere half way.
(If you a dropped off at Tababour a taxi to downtown is around 2 JOD ( with meter!)).
The bus from Damascus to Amman will not stop at Bosra on the border with Jordan. To visit Bosra best do a day excursion on mini bus to Deraa and Bosra and return to
Most travellers use shared taxi from Damascus/Somaria to Abdali in Amman.it cost around 14 USD slightly more than bus ticket.but much faster, and available almost anytime 24/7
