Anyone to share taxi from Madaba to Petra / Amman-Jerash-Bosra-Damascus?

Hello,

We will be taking a taxi from Mariam Hotel, Madaba on the 5th of November to visit Mount Nebo, Dead Sea, Karak Castle using the King's Highway and then continue to Petra. Anyone who wants to share a taxi with us, please PM me. I think a taxi can take up to 4 people. There are 2 of us. Taxi will cost 80JD.

We are also thinking of taking a taxi from Amman - Jerash - (cross border) - Bosra - Damascus on the 9th of November. I have tried to contact Palace Hotel in Amman for this tour but so far no reply from them. Once again, we would be happy if anyone wants to share the cost. I have been told that the trip would cost about 120JD. We have not fixed a hotel for Amman yet as we are still waiting for Palace Hotel to reply us. If they do not reply, we will stay at another hotel. We will have to start very early in the morning for this...maybe about 7am.

Anyone have any suggestions or advice on how to get from Amman to Damascus with visits to Jerash and Bosra all in one day, please feel free to comment. It will be much appreciated!

I think if u ask cab drivers in Amman they might help you with it or it least might know someone arrange such tours just give it try and you never know it might work out well :)

There is more than just Bosra between the border and Damascus.

Think about places like Shabba, Ezra, Qanawat.

I think you can still visit en route- but it will be a long day.

I think you could do this much cheaper than if you went down to where the service taxis to Damascus are in Amman and do a deal with them.

Never try to whistle with a mouth full of custard.

Raki Man is right, it would be a long day. I just did it the other way without Jerash and the cost was $80. If you are considering staying the night in Bosra, the only hotel game in town seems to be the way overpriced Cham Palace.
