Hi all,
I returned home today after two weeks of vacation in Jordan (and two weeks in Syria). If someone is interested in uptdated rates for good budget or midrange accommodation see below:

Amman

Farah Hotel
Dorm bed in 4 bed room 6 JD/night
Single room with private bathroom 17 JD/night including breakfast

Madaba

Single room with private bathroom 20 JD/night including breakfast

Wadi Musa

Single room with private bathroom 16 JD/night including breakfast

Bed in a four bed tent 20 JD/night including dinner and breakfast

I'll just add that I stayed in the Mosaic City Hotel in Madaba in March this year for 35JD for a double room. It had only opened a few weeks before I was there and I would highly recommend it. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable.
