I usually reply to others here, so this will be a first for me.
I'm planning to go to the Golan in two weeks, right before Passover. This would be my first time visiting that area and I'd appreciate tips about where to go, stay, and where to avoid.

I'll be in Israel in May for 10 days and I'd really like to go to see Petra. Is it possible to do it as a day trip, or as an overnight? Does anyone know of any good/reputable tours or groups that do it? I'll be solo in Israel (female, early 40s) visiting family and I really don't want to try to do Petra on my own.
Thanks very much!
We have 1 week (7 days - Sunday night - Sunday midday) to spend in Israel, mainly focussing on Jerulsalem. With this relatively short time would it be better to stay in Jersulsalem and take a few day trips or spend a few nights somewhere else?
We have already been to the Dead Sea in Jordan so was wondering if it was worth going again in Israel? I know the experience of floating would be the same but is there any other reason to go again - spectacular scenery for example? Not interested in a…

I'd like to go to Caesarea on a shabbat morning. Due to the fact that Egged buses don't work on this day, I wonder whether there is a way going there by sherut.
Does anybody know a good way going there, e.g. from Arlosorov bus station?
Thank your for your help!
Hello,
I'm planning to visit Israel in May this year. My main concern is that I might get refused entry since I visited Iran 2years ago and have stamps and a one page visa in my (austrian) passport. Does anyone know if I still can fly to Israel with my current passport (being prepared for tough interrogations) or shall I forget it?
Any advice greatly appreciated
My boyfriend and I are traveling to Egypt this summer and were thinking about going to Israel because he has friends there. Although I was/still am excited about the idea of going there because Jerusalem is a top 5 place to visit for me, I'm getting nervous. Can anyone calm my nerves? I would love to go without this paranoia. thanks!
Hi! I'm planning my 2° trip to Israel and I'd like to go also to Tzfat.
I can't find any info about buses from tlv. I checked egged web site but seems that they don't have any services to Tzfat. On LP I read that there are some from tlv and Haifa ... any info about these buses? How long is the journey?
And what about connections from Tzafat to Jerusalem ?
Thanks !
