Hello,

we are soon to depart to Israel via Aqaba, one of the great things we wanted to experience was Idan Raichel live, at Sherover Theatre in Jerusalem or in Herzliyya, unfortunately Herzliyya is out of the question due to the impossibility of getting back or returning a rental car on shabbat. Our only option (it seems) is to get a bus from Eilat with the Jerusalem us which arrives in Jerusalem at nine, the scheduled time of the concert!

Which brings me to the question; should it be possible…

Hi there.

I am looking for a traveling companion to hike the Israel National Trail (INT) with me. It is a 1000km hiking trail that takes you all through Israel. I want to travel from the South to the North. The date I am planning is from the 15th of April. The trip should take between 40 and 50 days. It will be mostly camping so person should have tent and camping equipment. And be reasonably fit.

Anybody interested please let me know.

Cheers

Albert

I'm planning on getting to Jerusalem the same day I leave Dahab.

Is this possible?

Can i stop in the dead sea for an hour or so and hop back on another bus to Jerusalem?

the last leg of the journey is flying from amman to Luxor, egypt.

Is a US passport ok for all of this at borders or do i need to go to a special office somewhere?

Finally, can anybody recommend a cheap single room, $20 range in Jerusalem and the town (forgot name) by Petra?

Thanks in Advance.

Hi

I'm going to Israel in three weeks and I have a few question that you might be able to answer.

1) I'm going to take a daytrip from Haifa to Nazareth but can't really find out which bus to take and from which bus station to take it. I understand that Egged doesn't do this route. I also thought about squeezing Akko in on the same day. Would thar be feasible or too much. Could you go by bus from Haifa to Nazareth then Nazareth-Akko and at last Akko-Haifa by train? I would do it on a Sunday if…

This April, I will be visiting Israel for my 5th time. On Friday, April 10, I would like to go to Mt. Gerizim near Nablus for the Samaritan Passover. I will be in Jerusalem from April 8-13, so I would be leaving from there. What I can't figure out is how to logistically do this.

I'm assuming that the best way to get there is to rent a car. Since Shabbat is starting, I will have to pick up the car during the early afternoon on Friday, April 10. However, I can't figure out what to do with…

Does anyone have any views on working on a Kibbutz? Any positive or negative experiences? It's something that has always appealed to me although I've heard that things have changed a lot in recent years.

Thank you

Sorry to bore you spoke folk with what is, I suspect, an oft asked question but does anyone know about the approx cost of ferrying a man and a bike from Haifa (Israel) to Cyprus and on to Turkey?
I'll be riding from Dahab (Egypt) to England starting soon and am currently contemplating Syria/Lebanon or the water hopping option..Many thanks.

Hi, I am flying into Israel this Coming Sunday night 18 January. I was just wondering what the weather is like over there at the moment. I am staying in Tel Aviv for a few days, then goiung up towards the Hadera and Haifa regions, then down to the Galilee region and down through the west bank to end up at Jerusalem. My travel agent has said to be prepared with warm clothes, but I am wondering just how cold or warm it gets. Will I be alright with long sleeved t-shirts?
