Hello, I'm hoping to cross the border from Jordan into Israel at Eilat in 3 weeks, but I don't want to spend the night in Eilat. Are there frequent buses to Tel Aviv (or Jerusalem)? I'm traveling on a monday, so there should be no problem with reduced transportation.
also, can I just show up at the bus stop, or is it better to book? is there maybe a website where I can do that?

hi, i will be soon travelling from Eilat to Cairo, and I do not have a Egyptian visa. I know it used to be the case that you can only get a visa to the sinai, rather than to Cairo. Is this still the case? If not can I:
1) just get a transit visa to the border if i can prove that I am only going to Cairo to take a flight?
2) I know that there is an Egyptian Consulate in Eilat. Do you know when this works? I know it has specific hours in which it issues visas. I probably will only be getting in…
