1. To get to Yad Vashem in Jerusalem just take the tram to the Mount. Herzel Stop, which happens to be the end of the line. You can walk to the museum from here, which is a very pleasant walk or you can wait for the free shuttle bus.

I have only 5 nights and will be arriving by air in Jerusalem. Would like to start with 2 nights in Jerusalem, then a night near the Dead Sea, the next in Petra and then back to Jerusalem.

Any advice as to the best way to accomplish this short trip - hotel recommendations, ground transportation, hiring a tour guide?

To what cities can i fly from Brussel Belgium to Israel? I want to land in Haifa but i see no listening there even tough there is suppose to be international airport there.

Does anyone have an idea how to get to Mizpe Ramon from Jerusalem on a Shabbat? Are there any Sheruts going to Beer Sheva, and if yes, would we get on from there to Mitzpe Ramon? Were are those leaving in Jerusalem? Many thanks.

As I plan to travel from Jordan to Israel via Aqada-Eilat. I will travel from Eilat to Dead Sea and have one day at the Dead Sea and stay for one night.

Thinking of getting a day tour next day to Masada and Ein Gedi Natural Reserve but could not find a tour like that online. Is it feasible to visit Masada on my own. Thinking whether the taxi fare from one place to another might be expensive.
