I'm currently searching for flights from Europe to Israel for mid/late September and realised that I could ask the veterans of thorntree for help!
We're currently in Spain and have two weeks from the start of September to mid September somewhere else in Europe. Where we go largely depends on where it is cheap to fly out of to get to Israel.
We would like to stay away from Scandinavia, UK, France, Spain and Turkey so we're not looking at flights from there.

Day 1. Staying one night at Eilat (Coral Beach)
Any recommendation on what to do? I was thinking visiting the Coral Beach Natural Reserve. Is it worth going? How long does it take to travel from downtown Eilat? After that, planning just chill out in downtown and do some shopping.

I'm interested in doing some guided hikes in the northern part of Israel in October. Jesus Trail sounds particularly interesting. However, I have gathered that it is a self-guided hike. I am an experienced hiker, but have never done any hike on my own. Hello everyone. I'm going on my birthright trip to Israel in Oct and plan on traveling to Egypt after. Are there buses running from Tel Aviv and is the border open? I've heard about buses from Jerusalem, which I could do if there weren't from Tel Aviv. How much does the buses cost? I'm willing to do local buses if it will save me a bunch of money. I'm an experienced traveler who doesn't mind roughing it at all.

I might go to this concert while being in Israel. However I am lodging in TLV and IRP warns me that concerts usually end quite late. Since I do not know J'lem, only speak very little Hebrew, I am looking for people who will go to the concert and who will travel back to TLV afterwards so we could travel back in group.
Or maybe someone just can give me tips on how I could travel back from the concert venue in J'lem to TLV in an easy, hassle free but yet not too expensive way?

I know Pegasus flies from Istanbul but the flight time on the particular day does not suit.
