It's quite entertaining to listen to both Syrian and Israeli authorities' official versions of their "war", because both are completely biaised and at odds with the historical reality.

#10 ......the historical reality. From October 6 to 25, 1973 Syria attacked and lost to Israel. One country fought back and gained the high ground, so their farmers would not be attacked from the high ground on the Golan Heights. One country fought and gained the water course and the blessings that the fresh water comes with these rivers and streams. One country fought and lost to Israel, for their (and Hafez) opportunity to paddle in Lake Galilee. Ah, yes the historical reality, and it was only 39 years ago.

But where is this, Kenitra view point audioguide in Israel reveals........ a vivid imagination, you refer to? Is this on Har Bental, because when I visited Quneitra, there were no audio-guides, only an ashamed Syrian police officer who escorted us through the town.

Just to return to the OP, you could indeed write a book, but that would defeat the purpose. So much depends on the passenger’s perceived attitude to the brusque and acerbic style of your interviewer’s questions. They are simply reading your reactions and body language, regardless of what, and which way their question is asked, just try and answer with honesty and sometimes a modicum of humility. This is in order that you and your fellow passengers all arrive and leave safely. You will also be subject to random luggage searches at banks, supermarkets, bus stations, malls etc. Always bear in mind, no one is ‘’picking on you’’ it is just a (local) fact of life.

Then please "entertain" us as well. The Israeli version may be biased - everything in the region usually is - but "completely at odds with historical reality"? You still haven't provided details of Israel's "vivid imagination".
