Hey guys!
I am going to Tel Aviv in a couple of days, and I am wondering whether anyone knows of any traditional hammams in the city?
I am not looking for a "spa", I'd like the oldfashioned, no frills, no plinkplonk music/candles kind of hammam. You know, the kind of hammam with decades old tiles, employees that look more like mechanics than massagetherapists, that take crap from no one, grunts instructions like a tired old boxing coach, and with total lack of regard to any wussy bodyconfidence issues you may have. Absolutely love it!!
I have been to hammams in Jordan and Turkey that were really amazing experiences, and I hope to find something similar in Tel Aviv.
Can anyone help me out??
Thank you in advance.
Veronica :-)
