planning to do this tomorrow. If we take the train to Binyamina, any idea how much a taxi will approximately cost to the site?
Also will taxi's be available at the site to the Binyamina train station when we're done (afternoon)?

Taxi to the site should cost, oh, well, i've never done it, but probably something in the region of NIS 50, with a surcharge if you have heaps of luggage. You can either agree on a fare when you get in, or ask the driver to turn on the meter. If it's with the meter and you have luggage, it will cost extra on top of the meter price for the luggage.

If there are no taxis lurking there, ask the ticket seller at the site to call a taxi for you when you are ready to leave. Or if you have a cellphone you can call this outfit that I found in the (Hebrew) Yellow Pages for you: Taxi Caesarea, 04-626-3311, from a non-Israeli cellphone dial +972 4 626 3311. With a phone card from a payphone, assuming there's one in the vicinity, dial 626-3311.

Hi Everyone,

I see on the Dan site that the #16 bus goes here: Rakevet (railroad) Ha-hagana. Is this the train station?

I know that the 16 and 17 number buses go near by our hotel.

Thanks!

Yes, that is one of the stations. All trains to and from Tel Aviv stop at all the stations, so it doesn't matter which one you go to.

Just wanted to put a note for future travelers:

We did this on Monday:
- Bus to HaHagana
- and then a train to Binyamina.
- From Binyamina we took a taxi to Caesarea national park
- 3-4 hours walking around.
- In the evening, we had a very tough time finding a taxi to take us back. No sheruts either. Everyone at the gate asked us to stand at a bus stop - which we did for 45 minutes - but there was no bus.
- In the end, we went inside, and had a guy at the restaurant call the cab company to send a cab to the park. (cab cost 50 NIS one way). While going back we shared the cab with another traveler so saved on the cost a bit.
- Train from Binyamina to Tel Aviv (one every half hour in the evening).
