Departing NZ in 12 hours, packing now. Arriving Israel 4 Jan until 15 Jan and wondering whether it's getting cold yet. Am used to temps 10C to mid teens here in winter. Should I expect similar? Will be travelling from Golan down to Dead Sea/Masada. Thanks.

Don't expect anything colder than NZ. It is relatively warm in Israel.
The golan heights will probably be coldest but not much less than 10c during the day.
The dead sea will probably be nice - around 20c
If this is not enough just search google for "Israel weather"
