Is there a common mobile phone network in Israel and the West Bank? I am going to spend three weeks in the area, mostly in the West Bank. I am going to arrive in Israel first and then move to the WB. Should I buy an Israeli SIM card first and then a Palestinian SIM card or is there a mobile phone company (either Israeli or Palestinian) covering the entire area at the same rate?

Someone else will have to tell you about the west bank but here are some sim cards you can buy that I suspect will work fine on the west bank also.

all 3 israeli mobile pohne network ( celcom, orange, pelpohne) got a reasonable reception in almost all westbank, however, if you are are going to stay mostly in the WB you should probbley prefare a Palestinian network.
