Hi,

Does anyone know if/how it is possible to travel from the Israel side of the Allenby bridge terminal to Jerusalem? I looked at Jericho to Jerusalem but there doesnt seem to be an Egged bus.

Thank you

Forget about West Jerusalem. There are share-taxis running from the bridge direct to East Jerusalem. Cost 35 shekels per person.

There are egged buses running from near the border. Check out this page on my site for full info www.touristisrael.com/landborders.html

Hope this helps

I agree with ruffgyder. The best way to get from the Allenby Bridge crossing to Jerusalem is by "service" (shared) taxi.

As above take the shared taxi - they leave from right outside the terminal, fill up quickly and take about 45 min to Damascus gate.
