Hey everybody

Wondering if anyone could recomend a clean resonably priced hostel in The Old City of Jerusalem
I might be going on an ofshoot to Ramallah so if anyone has any accomodation ideas for Ramallah as well they will be welcomed

Hi Rasmus!
I don't know about any hostels in Jerusalem but where ever I travel I use [www.hostels.com]
and usually find something good. If not, I search for "Jerusalem Hostel" in [maps.google.com] and find another bunch of hostels which usually have reviews too.
Saying that, what I really recommend is [www.couchsurfing.com] which have people from all over the world (I saw there are 11 in Ramallah too). It is a great experience and a warm bed where ever you go.

You can also try joining the hospitality club, which is free, and will enable you to stay with other members wherever you go int he world.

Also: In the Old City, check out the Austrian Hospice on the Via Dolorosa (if you can't get a room there, they have a nice cafe with balcony); the Lutheran Hospice just inside Jaffa Gate; and the Hashimi Hostel in Souk Khan e-Zeit.

as #2 wrote, Austrian Hospice and Lutheran Hospice are two wonderful solution.
I'm particulary in love with Austrian H. for its WONDERFUL rooftop from where you can have one of the best view of the city.
Anyway, you can go up there even if you're not a client, ask at the reception.
