Experiences with academic literature in israeli customs?

Does anyone have experiences with taking academic literature in to Israel through Ben Gurion Airport? How did it go? I have theoretic literature about social movements and resistance which I want to take with me.

As far as I know, your bags don't normally get turned inside out when you enter Israel. They do it when you leave.

Now I have arrived, and no search through my baggage was done. But yes, it's my impression too, that they search stuff when you are leaving. So I guess I will see...
