I noticed that bus services, e.g., from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv will stop during Sabbath (Friday evening to Saturday evening) and also train services so what if people have to travel, say, go to airport to catch a flight Saturday morning. How about city buses in Tel Aviv during Sabbath? How do people get around if no public transportations?
I will be in Tel Aviv during the weekend.

Minibuses are operating. But you have a good point; I was astonished at the degree to which Israel closes down for the shabat, although this is probably less so in Tel Aviv than in less secularised places. Be prepared, get a good book or plan for some extended walks!
That's why every family has a car - otherwise you have to spend your weekend stuck at home. Dirty politics. Anyway, shared taxis, bicycle or walks inside the cities. Taxi to the airport.
To other cities you have shared taxies from near the central bus station. Those also charge more and depart only when fill up. It's not a problem to get from Tel Aviv to central Jerusalem, Haifa or Natania, but for going to Tiberias for example, you can spend couple of hours waiting in an empty car. Long distance buses ("long" in Israel terms) start earlier, before official Sabbath end.

I will take a bus from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv Friday morning and stay there until Sunday night. I was planning to visit Akko on Saturday, I guess I have to stay in Tel Aviv Friday and Saturday and then visit Akko on Sunday.
So Sunday is first day of the week for Israellis, do they work on Sunday?
