Hello,

I am in Remallah right now with no visa arranged for Jorden. The hostel in Jerusalem told us he was almost 95% sure we could get a visa at the Allenby Bridge crossing these days, which directly contradicts what I have heard from other sources. I was wondering if the situation has changed recently and it is now possible to buy the visa at the Allenby Bridge, or if I will need to travel north to the Jorden River Crossing.

If I do need to cross to the north, which would be the best way to get there from Remallah (cheapest option preferably, such as a service taxi or bus)?

Thanks!

To my knowledge, it's not possible to obtain an entry visa at the Allenby Bridge crossing.

Depending on your main destination in Jordan (ie. Amman, Petra...), you might find convenient to cross from the Jordan River or from Aqaba.

Entry visas are now 20 Jordanian Dinars.

95% is good for many things, but not your visa. 100% sure you can't do the visa at the allenby bridge crossing!

You cannot obtain the visa at Allenby bridge. However you can get one at the Jordanian consulate in Ramallah in half a day and then cross through Allenby.
