Hi gents.

As the subject says, names and if possible telephone numbers of any accommodation options in this area are much appreciated. Looking for somewhere to stay in for two weeks, single person, anything below US$100 rocks my boat--ideally I was for somewhere quiet (going for study, not tourism) but I don't seem to have many options to choose from at this time.

Private accommodation is also an option, btw.

Thanks in advance for your help.

YMCA Jerusalem:
http://www.ymca3arch.co.il/
$95 single room including breakfast. It’s opposite the King David Hotel and only a few minutes from Keren Hayesod.

St. Andrew's Scottish Guest House:
http://www.scotsguesthouse.com/
$85/$90 single room. It’s opposite the old railway station, very close to the southern end of Keren Hayesod.

I haven’t stayed in either of these places, but the locations are certainly good!

'aluff,

Thanks for your help. I'm giving them a ring now, see if there is any luck. Cheers.

Hi again. Unfortunately both the Scots and YMCA were fully booked, and so is Beit Shmuel (another option in the vicinity).

Any more ideas would be extremely welcome :)

There's also a guest house at the corner of King George and Gershon Agron. It's affiliated with the Conservative movement.

#4, it's a youth hostel, which is clearly not what the OP is looking for (somewhere quiet to study, where he can stay for two weeks), but anyway:

Hi,

thanks once again for your answers. In a pinch Agron guesthouse would have been an option, at least during the weekend, so that's appreciated.

In the end, I have found what should be (!) a quiet place in the Moshava for the first few days, then I might be moving into a studio a little bit closer to where I need to be. We'll see how it goes :)

Cheers

#4, they have private rooms also. Your own link states that they have rooms for couples and families. In any case, if you're talking about hamoshava hagermanit, that's very nice.
