I and my 2 teenage daughter (oy veh) will be arriving late at night at Ben Gurion airport, at about 22.30. We want to be in Tel Aviv, but where's a good economic place to crash out that night late and hang out the following day? Ideally near the beach?
We then travel north to family in Nahariya.....and then to Jerusalem......

The three of you are arriving late at night, in July , with nothing booked yet? And if you have teenage daughters it's a reasonable assumption that you yourself are a little on the, um, mature side to be kipping on the beach, which you might end up doing through lack of alternative. Seriously. Have you thought this one through?
Have you asked your family in Nahariya for suggestions? You might be interested to know that you can get a train direct from the airport to Nahariya (if your folks will have you!) at 00:53, arriving Nahariya 02:44, every night except Friday night/Saturday.morning.
