Hi guys, at beginning of nov. we (4 pax: 1 italian, 1 ducht, 2 aussies) will land in Ika, get our VOA and are intended to flight immediately to Shiraz and from there go back to Teheran in 15 days.
We've been looking for the flight toShiraz online, but only we got a flight via Istambul for 300 Euros per pax....no way. Does anyone know with company flies from Ika to Shiraz? Thanks a lot

hi just wondering how difficult it would be to extend my 15 day v.o.a I am an Australian and would rather get my visa that way but also wonder about the problems/timeframe of getting an extra month while already in Iran. Also an extra, are the guesthouses fine for a female (62yr). Thanks for your advice/help.

Hi will be travelling to Iran in a week or so overland from Armenia. Don't have a flight booked out of Iran as not entirely sure on dates. Can I book flights on internet and pay with my credit card from Iran? I assume that if I book through a travel agent in Iran I will need to pay cash - is that correct?

Hi, I am soon going to Iran, unfortunately with way too little time. I will arrive Teheran late on Thursday October 15. Then I have roughly a week available, before I reach Erbil in Iraq. My plan is to stay 2,5-3 days in Teheran, until Sunday 1. Then I will (maybe) fly to Shiraz, before I go to Isfahan. My question is; can I easily travel Isfahan-Kermanshah-Suleymaniye-Erbil by bus? Or is it quicker to travel from Isfahan to Teheran, and onwards to Erbil? How long does it take to travel the two…

planning to visit Iran in October. would like to get visa on arrival at Teheran airport. we have Hungarian and Taiwanese passports. my questions are:

1. is the VOA issued now for 30 days and if not is it possible/difficult to extend it?

2. is a return/forward plane ticket required or is one way accepted?

3. could a Ngorno Kharabakh visa in the passport be a problem?

Am in the process of planning our itinerary and we leave next week.. ouch!
I'd be grateful to get any feedback on our suggested route. We plan to travel by bus or possibly taxi for most of the route (there are three of us).

19 Sep: land in Teheran
20 and 21 Sep: Teheran
22 Sep: Bus to Kashan and spend night there
23 Sep: Bus to Isfahan (2 full days here)
26 Sep: Bus to Yazd (spend 2 full days there)
29 Sep: make our way to Kerman province visiting Kaluts and Bam and.. ? hopefully stay…

The LP guide doesn't say very much about the Shiraz to Yazd route. I heard it was better to go with a driver/guide as some historic sites between the two cities are hard to get to using public transportation, but a guide is quite pricey and I'm wondering if it's worth the expense. Apparently taxi could be a cheaper option and quite a flexible one. Thoughts?
