Hey!
I'll be arriving to Iran this Tuesday (25.10.) at 5:30 am with a 21 day visa and before I decide on which onward ticket to buy I have to be sure exactly how much time does this visa give me and what is the last possible date of departure without overstaying? Is the day of the arrival included in those 21 days, which would mean I'd have to leave until Monday, 14.11. 23:59 or is it the same as in e.g. China, where the first day of the visa is in fact the day after the arrival (in may case that would be 26.10), which would give me a whole extra day?

Did you apply for 21 day visa? Standard visa is 30 days, even VoA, available at 5 Iranian international airports, to most nationals including Slovenia.

Yeah, I knew I'll only have a limited amount of time so the employee at the Iranian consulate suggested this option and now I have 21 days written on my visa... However afterwards it turned out I'll have more time on my hands then I initially expected (precisely these 21 days), so here I am now wondering if I can squeeze in one more day of traveling or not... :) I know that I could always get my visa extended if it was really necessary, but I honestly don't see a point in doing all the paperwork just for one single day...

1 day from Oct 25 would be Oct 26, so 21 days from Oct 25 would be Nov 15. This is how it's done in normal life situations but I don't know how they calculate it in Iran.
