Hi there,

I am considering a trip to Iran in mid-December. The most likely route will cover Tehran, Yazd, Isfahan, Fahraj and Kashan.

Does anyone have any experience of visiting this region during that time of year? How cold does it become and will the weather materially impact the trip (in terms of experiencing what Iran has to offer)? Even though December will be the most convenient time for me, would it be better to wait for a different season?

Many thanks in advance,

Peter

Hi Peter

I am glad to see yo chose Iran for your trip.

Iran has lots of things to offer, cultural, historical, art, hospitality, natural and so on..... You will enjoy it for sure.

But about the weather, it is up to your chance, December is winter in Iran but the weather can be sunny and warm during the day (If you are lucky ; ) ) but cold in nights for sure. So I don't think it be a big deal, just you need to wear a warm clothes.

About the different time, the best time is in April and May but sometimes people doesn't like to travel in high season.

If you have any more questions please feel free to ask.

Enjoy your trip
