Quick question (which I can't find on the Iranian Embassy www).

How long are Visa for British Nationals valid for from the point of issue? I want to have as long as possible to get my visa (and re-apply if needs be) ... is it 6 months?

Cheers.

Spooniran.

Hi,
You have not applied for visa yet, right? We, call Iran embassy in London, for example, and ask! But I must tell you do not think visas for iran, regardless of the type (press, tourist, student, etc.) are good for more than 90 days from the time issued. Good luck.Bye.

3 months. But check with who you are applying too. If its a tourist visa, then 3 months.

When I applied for my visa I used key2persia.com, it is a tour company (you can use their services for visas only) that helped me thru, within 2 weeks I got the application number. They also needed an intinerary wich I gave them. When I picked up the visa, it was for the exact amount of days as the intinerary was for so be generous with your days spent in each places. I heard it is quite easy to get it extended once inside the country though.
I will be there next week and looking forward!!

Hi,
Six months is way too long for a visa to be valid for. Certainly I have never seen one myself and most LP members I know or whose comments I have read over the last couple of years had reported to have been granted a visa valid for 90 days only. At any rate, I doubt Iran FM issues any kind of 'single-entry' visa good for six months. Bye.

The visa for British nationals is generally valid for 30 days, to be used within 3 months of issue.
