There are three seats in a row. Toilets are not available until the bus stops.

I am travelling Iran by bus as a diabetic just now myself. I book shorter trips for like 4 hours maximum and than get a new ticket from there on. On every terminal there are toilets. Bus scedules are often quite frequently here.

It works for me.

I didn't travel between Iraq and Iran, but bus travel anywhere in Iran was a piece of cake. Easy and enjoyable.

Is the air conditioning too cold on vip buses during the summer. Do I need to put on a warm jacket on the bus?

Yes & yes. It is & you need. I am still fighting with a bit of a sore throat from my first bus ride here in Iran. Now I always have my hoodie with me in the cabin :)

Iran is great!

Marcus, tnx for the info!!! I also don't like when the air conditioning is too cool. I hope your throat will be well soon. Perhaps you might try taking propolis for your throat. Enjoy your time in Iran :-)

Thx for the tip with propolis. I´ll take it when I´m home next week, still have some of the liquid somewhere. In the meanwhile I help myself with Persepolis. :D
