Salam,
Am currently drafting plans for a trip to Iran next year that'll commence towards the end of Nowruz.
Looking at flying into Tehran on Mar 29th, then leaving for Yazd on Apr 3rd (day after Sizdah Be-dar).
Would appreciate feedback on the following queries
- What is Tehran like towards the end of Nowruz?
- How available will budget accommodation be in Tehran then?
- Will the major Tehran tourist attractions be open then?
- For leaving for Yazd on the 3rd will bus and accommodation availability will be back to normal?

Thanks

Paul

Glad to hear you made a decision to travel to Iran, you will love it here.

Tehran usually during the holidays are more quiet. But the tourist attractions will be open.

About accommodation I don't know, maybe there be some local travelers which will book lots of hotels all around in Iran but you can do pre-booking to stay in safe side.

About 3th April, it is Sunday, so there is no any holiday right away after that such as Friday, so it should be fine.

Best Hopes

Hi ,

fist of all its one of the best times for visiting Iran .

most of the parts of Iran are good for traveling during Nowruz , but many places is crowded because of the holiday time many Iranian go to travel around Iran , but Tehran is so quiet , and its a good time to visit Tehran.

really you can find cheap hotel and some guest houses but not as cheap as hostels and B&B , I think if you dont stay in popular places you can find up to 25$ for mid-level hotel or guest house in Tehran .

many places are open , like museums , galleries after 5th of Nuwrus .

Its better to book it before , acutely when you arrive because in Nuwrus Iran is full of travelers .

Have a nice trip ,

I'll be glad if you need any help
Hemad
