When you arrive after you deplane don't follow the tourist lines to exit/visa/immigration, etc. Tell them you are leaving again from IKA the next morning connecting on to another flight and ask to see an agent.
Do this first, before you do anything else.
The airport people will send you an agent who will take care of you. He want to see your passport and your printed e-ticket to your next destination.
Airport agent will take your passport and your printed e-ticket after which he will go to an office to check on your travel to see about getting your boarding pass to your next destination.
You will have to wait in the transit room until he gets back to you with your boarding pass for your next flight, your passport and travel papers. This could take some time. There are toilets and water fountains. You cannot have access to the duty free shops or gates area or air side until you have your boarding pass.
You will have to stay in the transit hall, sit on a bench and wait. I would make sure to bring extra food for your waiting time. Again it could take some time to have your boarding pass processed by the agent.
There is a "transit hotel" but I understand it's overpriced something like 100 US Dolars a night and the rooms are enclosed with no windows. I would avoid spending the money. You can just wait in the transit hall until you receive your boarding pass for your onward journey and you can go to duty free and boarding gates
