Sand dunes in the sense of desert sand dunes, I wouldn`t know. Where it is arid, the country is barren rather than Sahara-like sandy. But I saw quite nice and impressive sand dunes directly adjacent to the beaches of the Persian Gulf between Genoveh and Bushehr, if this helps.
