Hi there
Im an Australian travelling to Iran in July. Im wondering if people could share their recent experiences in receiving their visas at the airport, especially in regards to accommodation being prebooked

I have booked two nights at a Tehran hotel and I want to leave it at that. On the Iran Embassy for Australia, it does mention having accommodation bookings for the duration of your stay. Although nearly all the forums I read people say they only had their first few nights booked. So Im just wanting some up to date information.

Thanks in advance.

Rachel

Hello,

We'll fly 25th of July to Iran from Amsterdam. We are Dutch.
A couple of weeks ago I called with the Iranian Embassy in the Hague and they told me a VOA is easy. You do not need anything.
The guy I spoke with referred to the information on their website: http://thehague.mfa.ir/index.aspx?fkeyid=&siteid=327&pageid=28766

Good luck, Harold

I'm also a bit concerned with the same issue as tiger996, as the people at the Iranian Embassy in Croatia say that all accommodation bookings for all the places one should visit should be listed when applying for VOA.
And one more thing, do women applying for VOA have to bring photos taken with a hijab or without it?

And one more question, how long did it take any of you till you got your VOA upon your arrival at IKA?

yes, anyone... pls do share Iranian VOA experiences! I don't see any info about the length? Is it for 15 days or 30?
