Wonderful post. We are planning to go to Iran in Oct. and are choosing between two group trips. They both go to Tehran, Mashad, Yazd, Shiraz, and Esfahan. One also goes to Kerman and the Caspian; the other goes to Hamadan, Kermanshah, Zanjan, and Tabriz. Do you know these places and can you give us any insight on which trip to choose?
The companies are Geographic Expeditions and Distant Horizons and both are liked by the people who have traveled with them.
