Hello!!!!! I went to the iranian consulate in my country Mexico to obtain the visa but as it takes from 10 to 15 working days to get the visa and my flight date is on august 16th my visa will not be on time for that day. I knew there could be the chance to get a visa on arrival for a max stay of 7 days (I´m going to stay for 6 days only because of lack of time :( ), I asked to the consulate and they said it can be done but I would like to ask you if some of you have tried to obtain the visa on arrival. They say I´d need to show my departure ticket but I´m travelling with stand-by tickets (I´m an airline employee), do you think that will cause me some kind of problem or they do not ask for any ticket, you just pay, give them a photo and that´s all??? I need your advice and help please, thanks in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think if they ask u for a ticket and you explain to them that you work for the airline they will understand...you are eligable for the visa, so there should be no problem at the airport
