Hi all

I'm finding it increasingly difficult to find an insurance company in the UK who will insure me for Iran. I'm visiting Tehran, Esfahan and Shiraz in August.

The UK Government’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office website states that it advises against all travel within 10km of the Iraqi and 100km of the Afghani borders, which the insurers I've tried say applies the whole country, therefore they won’t cover me. Please can someone suggest a good insurer?

Have you tried buying on online insurance on Europassistance UK?

It's fast and safe. I just bought an insurance for my trip to Iran with them (well, I'm Italian so I actually used the Italian website, but it should be the same) and there was no problem whatsoever.

Hi..I had it from swiftcover.com, it included Iran as well....choose the one that suits though...

UK based Direct Travel (direct-travel.co.uk or 0845 605 2700) are cheap and insured me for Iran
