can anyone suggest a very reasonable hotel in Tehran,we are on a bit of a budget as long as its clean etc

Firouzeh Hotel – is a good budget hotel central located. Otherwise I can recommend Atlas Hotel - just some hundreds meters away from the former US embassy.

Last time I was in Iran, and while in Tehran I stayed at the Amol Mazandaran on the street Amin Darbar Alley. Phone +98.339.41630 - it was cheap I paid 9 euros for a double room.
