Hi
I was planning to visit Iran in a few years time as I hold both British and Canadian passports, but things have changed and now I will try for next year. I am well aware that I need a guide, the question I want to ask is, now my mother would like to come along for the adventure. Is the price for a guide per person or is it an overall price.
Cheers

Overall. Either you as an individual or your mother and you as a de facto group need someone to take responsibility for your presence in Iran.

Depends on if you're paying for just a guide or a complete package.

However, as a fellow Brit that has just finished up two months in Iran, I can tell you that British citizens can travel around without a guide, and several tour agencies have also said it is fine. I have also read reports of Canadians being fine as well. No one ever asked me about a guide.
