Flights Tehran to Shiraz

I booked a flight for 7/4 with Iranair from Tehran (Mehrabad airport, NOT Imam Khomeiny!) to Shiraz at 6 a.m.
Iran air has recently got a new timetable. I was able to reach the Iran air office here in the Netherlands and was able to get an invoice sent to me, which was payable by Paypal/Ideal. A single ticket was 59 euro.
I know that there is also Mahan air which operates between these two cities, but I would opt for Iran air, as they have more flights. You could try to find the schedule which is published on Iranair.com and then click on the English language. It differs from week to week. Best thing I would think is to contact the Iran air office in Australia.

If you cannot get things arranged in Australia, you could try at Mehrabad airport to get a ticket for that same day, but also through an agency in Iran (the agency I always use) Setareh e Mahan, they have a bank account abroad. If you would opt for the latter, let me know and I will give you their contactnumber (haven't got it with me at the moment).

I am the same and therefore bought a ticket (for my daughter) in advance as well. Less hassle.

My travelcompany always work with this agency for our group arrangements and we are very satisfied about their service. Hopefully they can provide you with this service. Good luck!

Just checked momondo for May 8 - prices starting from €45 one way with Mahan Air.
You'll need a transfer from IKA to THR (Mehrabad airport) by taxi, about 770,000 rials.
