Is someone currently in Iran and can check the inofficial exchange rate for indian rupies?

Our main concern is that we are currently traveling in India, and therefore only get indian rupies from ATMs. However, all the info avaliable is only about € and USD.

How would we loose less?
1. either exchanging the indian rupies into USD or € while in India and in Iranian rial whilw in Iran
2. or directly exchaning the indian rupies into rial when in Iran

Thanks, and happy traveling !

As amir says, bring USD.

In India use licenced money changers to buy USD.

Examine the USD notes carefully, prefer newer notes from 2006 or 2009.

If stopping in UAE (Sharjah) on route use an ATM and get UAE Dirham.
