I sent my passport to the Iranian Embassy in Madrid and I don't know why they have lost my passport. So I had to re-issue a new one, but I do not have time to get the visa on it asI'm travelling next 18 oct. I have listened that, as I'm staying only 3 days in the country I can apply for a visa at the arrival paying 50 USD. Is that correct?
Thanks

enter Iran and at air port you pay 50 USD and they give you 7 days visa,unextendable...very simple and only some thing about 1 hour it takes..
this process is done in Tehran air port..shiraz airport..( am sure ) and perhaps Mashad and Tabriz air port..( not heard about it)

Yes, #3 is correct. I should have added that the visas are only available at international airport, not on land border crossings.
Thanks to all of you, now I can see that I'm entering the country with no problem.
All the best 4u

See detailed regulations on :
www.IranianVisa.com/uponarr.htm.

Israeli stamp is NOT a problem for entering Iran or getting an Iranian visa.

Hi !
I had that visa on October the 1st sovery fresh news.
50 USD , you MUST say you come for TOURISM. You have to fill a form with name etc etc. Then you have to waitaround 10 minutes for a confirmation fax from the Foreign Affairs Ministry. Then you have your visa and welcome to Iran. NO picture needed. No airticket needed, No hotel reservation needed.
